Smithville High School students Paige Fetzer and Isaiah Ajian were two of 53 who participated in the second Real Money. Real World. simulation. Throughout April, students experienced an eye-opening month of what it would be like to be married at 25 years old, with or without children to support, and pay living expenses.
The students picked a career, figured out how much the deductions would be from the gross pay and calculated expenses. The goal was to go to stations, pay bills and make it to the finish line with money left in the checkbook. Real Money Real World is a financial literacy program designed by the Ohio State University Extension.
